Chapters

ROCO is structured into chapters and clubs. A ROCO chapter is a group of volunteers who share a common background and expertise, and are passionate about a certain subject of general interest to the community. These individuals commit to working together to strengthen the community's fabric. The chapters are structured to include at least five members, featuring roles such as chapter leads and co-leads. Chapter members meet regularly, preferably once a month, but at least once every quarter, to engage in activities and discussions related to their shared interests and to plan community-enhancing initiatives. Chapters elections are run every year to decide the new chapter leads. Learn more about how chapters work.

Chapters are open, meetings should be announced publicly, and any ROCO member should be able to apply to join a chapter at any point during the year (chapters decide adherence rules and approve new members internally). As of 2024, ROCO is structured into 7 chapters.
