We are happy to let you know that the Math Kangaroo competition this season was extremely popular, and we had to find additional resources to accommodate more participants.

As we approach the competition date on March 16th, I suggest that you and your children explore various resources to prepare for the competition. Even if your children did not register this year, they could still practice at home by solving Math Kangaroo problems.

Math Kangaroo published four self-study books, posted lots of practice exams, hundreds of exams in a PDF format and created Lesson Plans for individual at-home learning.

  • The Math Kangaroo official website ( has past years' test papers and solutions available for download. These can be used to practice and familiarize oneself with the format and types of questions that will be asked in the competition.

  • There are also various books and study guides specifically designed for the Math Kangaroo competition that can be found online or at bookstores. These can provide additional practice problems and tips for preparing for the competition.

  • Online resources such as Khan Academy and Math-is-Fun have interactive tutorials and exercises on various math topics that can help students brush up on their math skills.

  • Finally, it's always a good idea to work with a tutor or a math teacher to get personalized guidance and support.
