A Night of A Cappella to Begin 2026
Radcliffe Pitches' History
The Radcliffe Pitches were founded over 50 years ago at Radcliffe, Harvard’s women’s college, before women were permitted to graduate from Harvard. They sing a varied repertoire of jazz standards, swing, soul, and contemporary pieces, drawing upon the musical stylings of figures like Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong, and Stevie Wonder.
Each year, the Pitches go on three tours, often alongside their sibling groups, the Harvard Din & Tonics and the Harvard Krokodiloes. They love to share and exchange music with audiences around the world and conduct musical workshops with schoolchildren of all ages. Recent tour destinations include Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Norway, England, France, Denmark, and Hong Kong. Other notable performances include appearances in the HBO series Julia, at the 1993 inauguration celebrations for President Bill Clinton, and with Hasty Pudding Man of the Year awardees, most recently Bob Odenkirk, Barry Keoghan, Ryan Reynolds, Ben Platt, Neil Patrick Harris, and Justin Timberlake.
