What a beautiful day of connection, laughter, and culture at the Chicago Cultural Allianceβs International Game Day at the Chicago Botanic Garden on November 1st!

Β
ROCO Chicago was proud to represent the Romanian community by sharing "Castel" (9 pietre) β a traditional Romanian game that brought together kids, parents, and visitors of all ages. Watching everyone join in reminded us that heritage is kept alive not only through grand celebrations, but through simple, joyful moments of play and discovery.
We are grateful to the Chicago Cultural Alliance for bringing together so many cultures through this event, to the Chicago Botanic Garden for hosting us in such a beautiful setting, and to our fellow members β the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago, Japanese American Service Committee, and the Heritage Museum of Asian Art β for sharing their rich traditions and energy.

Β
A heartfelt thank-you to all the ROCO parents and students who joined us and made the Romanian game corner shine with warmth, pride, and enthusiasm!

Together, we continue to celebrate culture, community, and connection β one game at a time.
