Math Kangaroo @ ROCO
We are happy to announce your kid(s) can participate in the Math Kangaroo contest by taking the annual test at ROCO.
The 2023 competition will be held on March 16, 2023 at ROCO.
Late registration for the 2023 contest closed on Dec 31, 2022. Registration for the 2024 contest will open in the fall of 2023.
What is Math Kangaroo?
Math Kangaroo is an annual international mathematical competition for thousands of students in grades 1-12. Math Kangaroo's focus is on improving students' math scores and teaching them new strategies for solving word and logic problems, helping them with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom. Started in Australia in 1980, and was brought to Chicago in 1998. Held as an in-person exam every year since 1998, it grew to 31,837 participants in 2019. Due to Covid, it has also been offered online and in 2020, the numbers climbed to a record 35,171 participants. You can learn more about this competition at the Math Kangaroo's website.
Testing Facility Info
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the test
- Parents will not be able to wait/spend time at the center
- Free Parking is available nearby

Our testing facility is full. 30 Children (28 Romanian) have signed up to take their Math Kangaroo test at ROCO Chicago.
