On Friday the 13th (ooh!), ROCO youth met at the community center to learn about internships in a seminar by author Robert Khoury.

Afterward, we met at Lock Chicago Escape Rooms where the 17 of us were split into two groups and were sent into separate escape rooms. Iโ€™m happy to report that both groups made it out in time in what was a very fun and eventful experience. At least in my group, we had to battle a wormhole, malfunctioning equipment, and complicated puzzles to save a mad scientist from his own creation along with the rest of the world.

We may not have beaten the world record - or gotten close, for that matter - but we all had fun putting our minds together and working towards a common cause. Though hopefully, next time, weโ€™ll get it a little quicker.
