This unique camp, brought to you by Romanian United Fund in collaboration with our esteemed partner, Povesti spuse-n romaneste (Povesti UK) and DRP, is slated to be an unforgettable cultural experience for your children.
Here's what you need to know:
📅 Dates: August 14th-19th, 2023 (Monday to Friday) 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
📍 Location: ROCO Chicago, 5406 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60625
👦👧 Ages: Children between 5-12 years (older children may enroll upon request). This is a drop-off event.
📚 Language Levels: All levels of understanding and communication in Romanian are welcome, from beginners to advanced. More details about the teachers you can find here: Meet the teachers
Cost of participation: $100 per child, lunch included
Daily Schedule (9:30 am - 4 pm)
- Morning: Interactive Romanian language classes
- Lunch break: Food to be provided by organizers
- Afternoon: Creative workshops in English and Romanian
🎭 Special Partnership: We have teamed up with Dra.ma Acting for Life, led by six talented Romanian actresses based in London. Your children will have the chance to experience drama and creativity in a new light!
🌟 Final Day Showcase: On the sixth day, there will be a showcase where children can display what they have learned in front of family and friends.
🖥 Bonus: Participants will have access to an additional module of 10 online Romanian language sessions after the camp.
