From early detection and advances in breast imaging to surgical treatments, radiation therapy, and breast reconstruction, our panelists will share their expertise, discuss developments in breast cancer care, and answer questions that matter to individuals and families.

Meet Our Expert Panel

Andreea Raicu, MD

Breast Oncology Surgeon | ROCO Med Chapter Leader

Dr. Andreea Raicu is a breast oncology surgeon at UChicago AdventHealth in Hinsdale. She completed her medical education at the University of Chicago, general surgery residency at UIC, and fellowship training in breast oncologic surgery at UCLA.

A devoted ROCO volunteer and ROCO Med Chapter Leader, Dr. Raicu is passionate about advancing women's health through education, awareness, and community engagement.

Calin Caluser, MD

Breast Imaging Specialist | Radiologist

Dr. Calin Caluser is a board-certified radiologist with over 25 years of experience in breast imaging. He previously served as Chairman of Breast Imaging at Stroger Hospital of Cook County and currently practices at Rush Copley Hospital.

He is also the founder of MetriTrack Inc., a medical technology company focused on advancing breast ultrasound technology.

Julius V. Turian, PhD

Medical Physicist | Radiation Oncology

Dr. Julius Turian is a board-certified medical physicist, Professor at Rush University, and Chief of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

His work focuses on advanced radiation treatment technologies and their application in cancer care, bringing important insights into the precision and evolution of modern radiation therapy.

Soleil Nicknam Bienia, MD

Plastic Surgery

Dr. Soleil Nicknam Bienia joins our panel to contribute insights from the field of plastic surgery, including considerations surrounding breast reconstruction and recovery.
