Dance Like You’re Proud of Every Version of You (Even the Chaos Ones)

A Romanian‑inspired women’s night with dancing, bubbly, and a wall where we publicly admit what we actually want this year.

Event Details

On Friday, March 6, at 7:00 PM, ROCO Chicago is turning into a women‑only spring party where perfection is cancelled, and dancing in “I almost didn’t come” outfits is absolutely encouraged.

Inspired by Romanian March 8th traditions, we’ll celebrate snowdrops, mărțișor charms, and the simple joy of making it out of the house 🌸

👗 Dress code: “First Day of Spring… but realistic” — anything from a floral dress to that cute sweater you’ve worn 47 times.

What to expect

🌸The Mărțișor Wall – a.k.a. “Manifest but Make It Cute”
At the door, you’ll get a tiny mărțișor charm and a card.
Write a wish for yourself for the year—deep, ridiculous, or both (“more naps, less BS” is acceptable)—then pin it to our Mărțișor Wall or keep it in your bag like a tiny contract with Future You.

🥂Spring drinks that feel like a small raise. Our bar will be serving:

• Mărțișor Sunrise – prosecco, blood orange juice, a raspberry, and a red‑white ribbon on the glass, because your drink also deserves accessories.

• Babele Bellini – peach purée, prosecco, and a tiny snowdrop illustration on the menu, for the “I’m fancy but also tired” vibe.

• Snowdrop Spritz (NA) – sparkling water with elderflower and lemon for anyone who wants bubbles without the buzz.

• Berry Mărțișor Lemonade (NA) – berry lemonade with a mărțișor straw charm, because your straw can celebrate too.

💃Dancing, but make it zero pressure
This is not “I know the choreo from the music video” energy. This is:

• “I only dance after two drinks.”

• “I dance like no one’s watching, even though everyone definitely is.”

• Expect playful dance prompts like: “Dance like you’re proud of every version of you—yes, even the one who ate cereal for dinner.”

Photo moment & closing ritual

Before you leave, grab a photo by the Mărțișor Wall: solo, with your hype squad, or with the new friend you met in the drink line.

You can:

• Take your wish card home and stick it on your fridge, or

• Leave it on the wall so ROCO can gently glow with everyone’s hopes, dreams, and suspiciously specific goals
