Presentation & Workshop where tradition and creativity merge, and where the spirit of spring is embraced through the art of crafting Romanian Mărțişoare.
🌸March 1st - Mărțişor Celebration: Dive into the world of Mărțişor a beautiful Romanian tradition symbolizing the arrival of spring. Craft your own Mărțişor and learn about the significance of this charming red and white talisman.
👵Babele - Celebrating Wisdom: Explore the unique tradition of Babele, where wisdom takes center stage. Engage in activities that honor the wisdom of elders, share stories, and connect with the richness of Romanian folklore.
💃March 8th - International Women's Day: Explore the unique Romanian way of celebrating International Women's Day. Discover the historical context, create thoughtful gifts, and appreciate the women in your life.
💖Dragobete - Celebration of Love: Experience the Romanian Valentine's Day! Uncover the traditions of Dragobete, celebrate love, and engage in fun activities that honor this day dedicated to romance and the awakening of nature.

Teens: $10 cash/teen or $20 for non members.

🌟 ROCO Teens: Empowering the Next Generation of Community Leaders
This page is designed to capture the essence of fun, leadership development, and community engagement, making it an enticing invitation for teens to be a part of something meaningful and enjoyable during the holiday season.
How it works
We meet, we talk, and we have fun. Every month we discuss a different topic of interest, and we may watch some videos and have guided discussions.
At every meetup, we have time to socialize, play games, watch a movie, or we may have a little party.
Who is invited
Parents & Teens (meeting separately)
Any young adult 13+ to 18, passionate about becoming a leader and/or happy to connect with other Romanian-American Teens.
Teens must sign up using their own email!
Parents: you don't need to sign up, just show up (BYOB)
